This molding process includes heating and injecting raw plastic material under pressure into a closed metal mold tool or significantly heating rubber by using very high pressure to inject the rubber compound material into the mold. And with rigid material, the molten plastic cools and hardens into the shape inside the mold. And for rubber, the material is injected through channels in the mold tool and into cavities of the closed mold.
